Galvalume is developed on the basis of hot-dip aluminium plating and hot-dip galvanising technology, which has both the excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance and heat and oxidation resistance of aluminium plating products and the excellent electrochemical protection of galvanised steel sheet products, so that the cuts and scratches are not easy to corrode and rust.

The coating consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon in weight ratio, respectively.
