1. Brief Introduction

Hot-dip aluminum-zinc coated steel plate is a pre-coated steel sheet created by hot-dip plating a layer of Al-Zn coating on both sides of a cold-rolled steel plate of varying strengths and thicknesses. The coating layer consists of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc, and 1.5% silicon by mass. This combination offers the physical protection and high durability of aluminum along with the electrochemical protection of zinc. The material retains the strength and plasticity of the base steel while providing excellent corrosion resistance from the coating. Additionally, the surface features a highly decorative bright silver-grey color with a regular embossed pattern.

 

2. Differences Between Aluzinc Steel Coil and Galvanized Steel Coil

  • Composition and Coating

- Aluzinc Steel Coil:

- Coating: Aluzinc steel coil is coated with an alloy composed of approximately 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon.
