Galvanized shingles are steel sheets with a zinc coating on the surface. This zinc layer provides an economical and effective method of corrosion protection. Approximately half of the world's zinc production is used for the galvanizing process.
Galvanized roof tiles are created by coating the surface of a steel sheet with a metallic zinc layer, which prevents surface corrosion and extends the service life of the steel. This zinc-coated steel sheet is referred to as galvanized steel sheet.

Durability: In suburban environments, standard galvanized rustproofing can last 50 years or more without needing repair. In urban or offshore areas, this coating can last up to 20 years without maintenance.
