Aerosol Tinplate Can

As is known, light can cause and accelerate oil oxidation, which reduces nutrition value of oil by destroying its vitamin A and D, and even more seriously, by generating harmful substances. And, oxygen in the air can also lead to food oil oxidation, resulting in decreased protein biomass and damaged vitamins. To avoid this, we have developed tinplate that has high opacity and excellent airtight seal, and can provide better protection for the contained oil, food, beverage, and so on. Hence, the oil tin can is ideal for packing lipids.

To provide the highest quality oil tinplate can, we implement rigid inspection on the whole process from material procurement to the final product delivery. In addition to strict monitoring on working procedures such as acid washing, reciprocal rolling, and degreasing, etc., our specialized personnel check our products through mechanical property tester and coating tester to ensure superior performance of our oil tin can. 1. Introduction

Tinned substrate steel is mostly low carbon mild steel, the carbon content is generally 0.03% ~ 0.13%. Before the development of continuous casting technology, mostly casting boiling steel and gland steel were used. Although these steels have good surface quality and can be rolled to tin-coated substrates, they cannot be used as tin-coated substrates with high forming properties due to the existence of component segregation during the casting and solidification of the ingot and the great difference in mechanical properties in the rolling direction and width direction. Since the rapid development of continuous casting technology in the 1970s, the continuous casting slab is suitable for improving the shape quality and forming stability of the tin plate because of its uniform chemical composition, small segregation and small fluctuation in mechanical properties. At present, the steel used in tinplate has basically been continuously cast.

 

The chemical composition of tinplate steel can be divided into L, MR, MC, D type 4 according to ASTM A623 standard, and its chemical composition is shown in Table 1. The percentage content of each element listed in the table is the maximum, and the actual content is usually much lower. Among them, L-shaped steel residual elements (Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo and other elements) composition is particularly small, with excellent corrosion resistance, MR Type residual element composition is wider, good corrosion resistance, used as a general food container, MC type P content is higher, play a role in increasing strength, for strength requirements and corrosion resistance requirements are not high purposes, D type is aluminum killing steel, For use in deep drawing or under conditions prone to tensile strain marks.   • ETP

ETP orders are placed with Baosteel in accordance with Q/BQB 450-2009 standard which uses in a non-equivalent to JIS G 3303:2008, DIN EN 10202:2001, EN 10203 standards.

5. Usage Precautions for ETP

  • As ETP is covered by soft metallic tin coatings, due precautions should be taken not to cause scratches by rough handling or vibration during transportation.
  • Paintability, printability, solderability, and mechanical properties of ETP tend to 收deteriorate as time elapses after production. Use as soon as possible after delivery.
  • Although ETP has excellent corrosion resistance, it tends to rust in a humid atmosphere. Use as soon as possible after unpacking.
  • Tin is dissolved by a strongly alkaline solution. When using ETP for making cans for alkaline contents, paint the internal surface.
  • As contents that contain sulfur cause blackening of the ETP surface, paint the internal surface.
