GBT2518 Regular Spangle Galvanised Steel Sheet In Coils Chromated ASTM A653M CS-B FOR ROOF PANELS
Hot-dip galvanised steel coil (GI) is made by passing a fully hardened steel sheet, which has undergone a pickling and rolling process, through a zinc pot, thereby coating the surface with a zinc film. Due to the properties of zinc, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, paintability and workability. Typically, the process and specifications for hot-dip galvanised steel sheet and galvanised steel coil are essentially the same.
Hardness: soft (normal), hard, full hard
Zinc coating: 30-275 G /M², or on request
Zinc pattern: large zinc pattern, small zinc pattern, no zinc pattern
Surface finish: fingerprint resistant, chromate, oiled, unoiled

Galvanised steel coils are thin steel sheets that are dipped into molten zinc in order to attach a layer of zinc to the surface. This is an effective method of corrosion protection that extends the life of the metal material.
Regular Spangle
A regular bright pattern produced on hot-dip galvanised steel sheets by adding certain heavy elements to the molten zinc bath.
Minimum Spangle
The zinc layer (coating) is lead (Pb) free and complies with the EU WEEE and RoHS directives. It is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly material.
Classification of galvanised steel substrates
Hot rolled galvanised steel sheet: hot rolled steel sheet with pickled substrate.
Cold rolled galvanised steel sheet: the substrate is cold rolled or hardened steel sheet.
